The Mag Music Rotation module handles the automatic creation of music playlists according to rules specified by the user. These rules can be divided into two main groups: one that uses artistic characteristics of the songs, and another that relies on mathematical timing rules. The first group of rules offers rotation based on artistic guidelines, such as tempo, the 'structure' of the musical material, mood, etc., as defined by the user.

The second group of rules is based on controlling when a music element can be played in relation to when it was last scheduled and played.

The Mag Music Rotation module follows rules set by the user. These rules tell the system how to interpret different characteristics of the music elements or the time since they were last played. The rules are very flexible. Each user can adjust them according to their individual expections
