RAMI PJO 700 – The portable mixing console
The RAMI PJO 700 is the upgraded version in the line of portable mixing consoles. It's especially suited for journalists working on the road. The RAMI PJO 700 comes with a USB audio interface for recording and editing audio on a laptop or an on-site audio workstation.
A small mixer, a microphone, headphones, and a computer with a USB port are all a journalist or correspondent for radio and TV needs today to record their reports anywhere in the world, edit them ready for broadcast, and send them to the station.
The functionality of the travel mixer, fine-tuned down to the last detail for journalism tasks, allows for a professional and reliable workflow. The compact and very sturdy housing of the RAMI PJO 700 is specially designed for mobile fieldwork.

With the “Little Mixer,” a laptop, an audio or video editing system, and a little bit of accessories like a microphone and headphones, recording and editing sound for radio and TV at the press center, OB van, hotel room, or even the newsroom becomes a manageable task with top-quality results, all based on the high performance of a well-thought-out overall concept.
This small and handy mixer is based on the experiences of SNG editors and their wishes to optimize workflow on the go, which we took into account when introducing Satcom’s EasyLINK system, and incorporated into the development of the “Little Mixer.”
The starting point was the requirement to enable direct audio recording on the editors' mobile computers (laptops) via a USB interface. The company Rami in France had already solved this task with the PJO 550, but the needs of editors working in the field went beyond the functionality of this unit. After the submission of the expanded concept with significantly enhanced functionality by R. Barth GmbH, the "Little Mixer" was created.
This small mixing console contains the UAX 220 USB interface from DIGIGRAM, allowing direct audio recording and playback on any PC (personal computer) or laptop with a USB port.
In addition, only the functions that are really important for sound recording are included in this small, ergonomically cleverly designed mixer. This made it possible for an editor on the go to use the 'Little Mixer,' a microphone, and headphones to record their audio production on a laptop, edit it, and deliver it as a broadcast-ready piece via satellite or over the Internet as a file to the studio.
