On Air Live, Tools and more
DJin On Air und Tools
Digispot offers DJin, a fully configurable graphical interface where the necessary Digispot modules can be freely combined according to customer requirements and the needs of a specific workstation.
For example, you can create an interface for the studio hosts that includes all the modules required or additionally wanted for live operation (e.g., playout, schedule, database browser, cart wall, stack player, newstape, etc.).
The playout module, the X-Player, has three different playout modes: Manual, Live, and Auto.
In addition, Digispot has some effective features to ensure playout reliability:
On Air Reserve: The redundant storage of schedules including audio data on the local hard drive of the On-Air station, the so-called “Reserve System.” It increases system reliability and provides fail-safe transmission, even in the event of LAN or internet failures.
Hot Reserve: To ensure the most reliable operation possible, the On AIR Hot Reserve system offers the option of completely redundant broadcasting on another workstation in a synchronized broadcast mode. In this setup, the main station (Main) broadcasts actively, while the reserve station keeps the same schedule on standby. If the broadcast on the main station is interrupted, the reserve automatically takes over in real time. Since switching can also be done manually, this feature can also be used, for example, to free up a studio for maintenance purposes.
Since switching can also be done manually, this function can also be used, for example, to unlock a studio for maintenance purposes.
